Eric Taveren writes and lives in Minneapolis. He is in the tail end of his MFA program at Hamline University and his work appears in Great Weather for Media, F(r)iction, and Avalon Literary Review, among others. One of the small percentage of people with aphantasia, he writes to create the worlds he cannot see.

Update about Fiction Submissions (PLEASE READ)

Hello! Please be advised that accepted FICTION submissions are now being scheduled into 2026. That is quite a ways away, we know, but it also means that we’ve got enough great fiction scheduled for the rest of 2024 and ALL of 2025!

We just want to mention this for anyone still waiting for decisions or submitting.
