Uduak-Abasi Ekong
Uduak-Abasi Ekong is a Manchester-based Nigerian writer whose short fiction has been published or is forthcoming in Everscribe Magazine, Bournemouth Journal, Brittle Paper, Arts Lounge Magazine, and Iko Africa. Her WIP was shortlisted for the 2024 Merky New Writers’ Prize, and her short stories have been longlisted for the Mslexia 2024 Short Story Prize and the 2025 Disquiet Literary Fiction Contest. She is also an alumna of the Faber Academy ‘Getting Started: Beginner’s Fiction’ course.
