Sarika Mahbubani
Sarika Mahbubani was born in Taiwan and grew up between India, Hong Kong and the United States. Alongside her work as a software engineer, researcher and occasional (and regretful) stand-up comedian, she writes fiction that reflects on language, identity, and the boundaries between people and systems. Her work has previously been published in Euphony Journal. She was a 2025 semi-finalist for the Black Lawrence New Immigrant Authors fellowship.
