CL Prater
CL Prater grew up in Mission, South Dakota on the Rosebud Reservation. She still finds an anchor there for herself and her writing. A retired educator, she lives on a small sandy farm near a Nebraska river. Before tending to a menagerie of living things, she starts her days with strong coffee beside her husband on their porch. She writes daily, substitute teaches occasionally and jumps at the chance to babysit grands. Her poetry and non-fiction work has appeared in a variety of literary publications.
