David Herman’s recent publications include “Dogs: A Diaspora” (Miracle Monocle), “Animal Crossings” (Punt Volat), and “The Lost Notebooks of Black Beauty” (Open: Journal of Arts & Letters). His translation of Klaus Modick’s 1984 novel, Moos (Moss), an early contribution to German-language ecofiction, was published by Bellevue Literary Press in 2020.
