Ran Diego Russell
Ran Diego Russell is a Pushcart Prize-nominated poet and fiction writer whose work has appeared in Witness, Spillway, The Write Launch, riverSedge, The Ravensperch, 3Elements Review, Oyez Review, Chiron Review, and others. He had a rambling, itinerant childhood that ranged throughout the deserts and foothills of the Rocky Mountain region. Prior to his teaching career, he worked as a ranch hand, construction laborer, fruit picker, and forklift driver. He lives in Golden, Colorado with his wife, children, and an assortment of goofy dogs who all blithely enable his addiction to jazz.
