Avishek Parui

Avishek Parui (PhD, Durham UK) is Assistant Professor in English at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and Associate Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. He is the author of Postmodern Literatures (Orient Blackswan, India) and is currently writing his second book with Rowman & Littlefield titled Culture and the Literary: Matter, Metaphor, Memory. He researches and writes on memory, embodiment, and storytelling selves.
