Lauren Beck is a writer, musician and mother from Baltimore, MD. She works full time at an institute for higher education and is in her third and final year of the M.F.A. in Creative Writing and Publishing Arts program at the University of Baltimore. Her writing focus is creative non-fiction, though she also writes poetry and music. Lauren lives in Baltimore County with her ten year old daughter and their evil cat.
