Sheila Sundar
Sheila Sundar’s writing has appeared in The New York Times, Glimmer Train, and The Bookends Review. She studied at the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, and was the winner of the 2010 Barbara Deming Memorial Award for fiction. A former history teacher, she is a graduate of Hampshire College and Columbia University. She lives in New Orleans where she works to reform the teaching of social studies throughout the South, and is currently at work on her first novel.
