Max Orkis

Max Orkis lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and works as a writer/editor and narrative designer. His English and Russian prose and poetry have appeared in Grand Little Things, North Dakota Quarterly, the Atomic Flyswatter anthology, Weber — The Contemporary West, The Milo Review, Empty Sink, Words with JAM, the 2011 Grigoryev Competition anthology, Topos, Polutona, Dvoetochie, and elsewhere. His screenplays have won laurels at a number of film festivals: the 26th International Indie Gathering, 2021 Silk Road Film Awards – Cannes, and 2022 Best Script Award – London.
