Michael Pettit

Michael Pettit is an established South African artist—a painter—living in Cape Town. His works are included in major public galleries, university, and corporate collections in South Africa, and in private collections around the world. He holds an MA (Fine Arts) from the University of the Witwatersrand, and he gave up a university post to concentrate on painting as a full-time artist.

In the last years, his intense focus has shifted from painting to writing. He has found the creative process in both essentially similar. View a selection of paintings here.
