Rozina Jessa

Rozina Jessa is an Indo-Canadian writer from Vancouver, BC. She studied Theatre Acting & Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia. Her essays & poetry have been published in Carte Blanche Magazine, In/Words Magazine, Understorey Magazine, Untethered Magazine, Rigorous Magazine, and Uncomfortable Revolution. As an Indo-Canadian writer, Rozina’s personal mandate in her written work is to explore the truths regarding colonization and the effects it has had on several groups of people, specifically women of colour.
