Zabette Gérard
Zabette Gérard comes from a large and loud French and American family, and she grew up in south Florida, Britain, and France. She is over-educated and under-useful: she has been an editor, a piano teacher, and a ghostwriter; plus, she’s taught environmental policy and law, and for the past several years has worked with European environmental NGOs. Adopting her son from Ethiopia represents the one unequivocally fantastic decision she has ever made. He is a luminous soul, despite being a teen.
