Helena Barbagelata
Helena Barbagelata (b. 1991) holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Salamanca. Model, multidisciplinary artist, researcher, and activist, she has received several artistic, literary, and scientific awards from the Onassis Foundation, the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Greek Government, Università di Trieste, Universitat de València, Universitat de Barcelona, and Premio Internazionale di Poesia e Teatro Castello di Duino, among others.
She’s a member of the Society of Jewish Artists (SoJa) and the Organization for the Democratization of the Visual Arts (OBDK). Her works combine painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, video, sound art, and printmaking.
